[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The Roots Fund executive director Ikimi Dubose, along with Hue Society CEO Tahiirah Habibi, and master sommelier Carlton McCoy Jr., in partnership with the Burgundy School of Wine & Spirits Business, and Domaine Dujac, have announced the “Rooted in France” scholarship.

The scholarship was created to provide an educational life experience to a bachelor’s degree program student at an HBCU. The recipient will receive a full scholarship to the Burgundy School of Wine & Spirits Business in France to pursue a Master’s Degree in Wine Management/MBA in Wine & Spirits Business. Ranked in the top 1% of business schools, these programs focus on product business, entrepreneurship, and management skills. The recipient will learn alongside some of the most passionate people in the industry and create everlasting relationships to advance their career in the world of wine and spirits.

“This scholarship is more than offering a master’s degree,” says Dubose. “It offers a life-changing experience in a different culture—exploring wine, food, and people in France.”

Application opens January 2021. To donate or for more information go here.
