Few people know the creation of Barolo wine can be attributed to a woman, Giulietta Falletti, the Marchioness of Barolo, who developed the wine in partnership with French wine expert, Louis Oudart. The wine was so superb it gained favor with Italian royalty and became known as the “King of Wines.” Today, the tradition of that female visionary lives on through mother and daughter duo, Anna and Valentina Abbona, who run the Marchesi di Barolo winery, and cohost this webinar.
